Really not enjoying twitter anymore to be honest, so will most likely delete my account tomorrow, and stick to Instagram, which seems to me, to be a far happier place to be. It was fun.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first evening with .@SJAWorcesterASU, having recently become a volunteer with this fantastic organisation. My thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.

Cllr. Simon Cronin once knocked on me, unknowing who I was, & I liked him immediately. We always happily disagreed on ‘that issue’. A true eccentric, we’d always have a pint after Worcs. Regulatory Board meetings & laugh together. He was honest, discreet & trustworthy

On 78, I think of my Aunt Lena taking my 9 y.o. mother to celebrate outside Buckingham Palace. A lady chatted to them about the ‘the war being over’, but mum snapped at her saying that her’s wasn’t, as 2 brothers were fighting in the Pacific. Thankfully they both came home

A most magnificent start to the day. I genuinely can’t remember the last time that someone blocked me on here. That’s the trouble with some people - Always ready to give it, but never able to take it.

‘Zadok the Priest’ really is the most amazing piece of music. It always makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. I am so looking forward to tomorrow.

Don’t forget to vote today. If you can’t be bothered to vote, then I can’t be bothered to listen to you moaning about them!

I met this gent last week. As I often say, our bland world needs more eccentrics. Good luck to him. How my old African grey parrot ‘Charlie Farley’, would’ve loved to have perched on that.

Take it from me - There’s no better way to celebrate the long life of the great , than by dancing like no one is watching, to the magnificent ‘Jump in the Line’. In the words of the great maestro himself: ‘Hoist those skirts a little higher’! May he rest in peace.
