In a bar last night, guy was buying lady drinks. He left, she nodded off on her stool, then fell over cracking her head. Very nasty injury needing stitches, lost around half a pint of blood. We managed to stabilise her until ambulance arrived. #drinkspiking is a serious problem.

@mollygiles2015 Immigration & asylum are two completely different issues, that have, like Keith, been muddled into one. Only a fair immigration system would allow us fulfill our asylum obligations in a manner that won’t hinder our poorer communities. And I say this as the grandson of a refugee.

From five years ago. Politicians at all levels could learn much from #PresidentCarter, now aged 97. Yes, we know his single term presidency was tarnished by many things, but I’ve always been an admirer of his approach and like him immensely. To my mind, he is humanity exemplified
