@AuschwitzMuseum @Freedland Absolutely, & those brave escape attempts are referred to in the book. My understanding is that they were the first successful Jewish escapers. Forgetting to add the word ‘successful’ to my tweet clearly leaves me at fault in the Twittersphere. In any event it’s a compelling read
