@Rob_Kimbell With so much of it having been incorporated into everyday use far from London nowadays, I won’t be getting my “Alans” in a twist worrying about it’s demise. I’m similarly reminded of the Jewish joke about the Yiddish language which has been dying out for the last 2000 years. BW
