Muistan 26.4.1986 jälkeiset päivät kuin eilisen. Tšernobyl sijaitsee vain muutaman kilometrin päässä Belarusin rajasta, jolta Venäjän joukot murtautuivat Ukrainaan heti hyökkäyksen alussa vallaten laitosalueen viikoiksi. Sieltä avautuu suora tie Kiovaan.
