We met Dr Pavlidis, the coroner for the Evros region, whose job is to identify the bodies of asylum seekers and migrants. He gives them back their name and their dignity.
He's the only Doctor doing this work in Greece, with no support from the government & only @ICRC
Yesterday, we were at a refugee reception centre in Evros, where our MEPs met with Frontex & Greek officials. The situation in Evros is tense and difficult for NGOs & journalists to scrutinise.

The Commission is finally taking action against Orbán who has torn democracy apart instead of supporting people.
We need a united front from the EU & Member States to repair the damage to democracy!
