So many mature trees already lost and more under threat from this massive development by @MetTVH, @countryside_ps and @lambeth_council. The tree canopy in Lambeth is amongst the worst in London. We need to protect mature trees

Woeful. Absolutely woeful. They cut down mature trees that absorb so much carbon, cool the earth, soak up the rain and provide established natural habitats. In their place, they plant tiny trees that will take around 50 years to mature and give the same benefits.
