@gloverstweets Israel operates a strict siege of Gaza which includes complete control over who enters and leaves. The army informed us that political figures are not welcome to enter Gaza. They do not want the world to see the open-air prison they have created.

This can be a very powerful tool for Ireland's biodiv. and ecological health, something that was highlighted at the recent Citizens Assembly on Biodiversity Loss 🌿
