This form of wilful, bad-faith media misrepresntauon is not clever investigative revelation, giving insightful observations, delving behind public persona. Could shine light & be quietly devastating. But cheap/lazy version destroys faith in MSM as it tries to destroy reputations
RT @Miss_Snuffy: Why you can’t believe what you read in the press.
The writer of the Mail on Sunday article cleverly writes what seems a balanced article …
Excellent thread on dangers of identitarian left; especially on their denialism of their own positions of power while playing victim. Great insights @CapelLofft
RT @CapelLofft: They want to exercise authority while never admitting that they possess it. That is a very dangerous position. It means that they will never be to blame, in their own mind, for any of the evil things they do. That makes them capable of anything
Can't blame Extinction Rebellion or hangover EU laws for these anti-car, anti-energy proposals. So what do Tory leadership candidates make of these suggestions from a Gov appointed Tsar?
RT @clim8resistance: "the UK’s infrastructure tsar told The Telegraph the public should be told to cut their usage."
Infrastructure *tsar*?!!
@Iromg A bloody well deserved break. Relish every moment Mike
@danielmgmoylan @trussliz @RishiSunak Hear hear to the debating policy point. Important not to make this a toxic, personalised process
@Joe_UK13 Sadly seems true
@yall_equal_shit I didn't say most of that you did. So way to smear is to make up what others think? Easy way of pretending you are on the moral high ground. You aren't.
@gillywiggy Cheers
@JimmyRamport Appreciate that comment
@ivanhewett Spot on
Sometimes those with gender critical views are accused of using caricaturing smears to discredit Stonewall. No need sadly. See here, advising nurseries and schools to acknowledge "Children as young as 2 recognise their trams identity". Yuk. Leave those kids alone.
RT @stonewalluk: Research suggests that children as young as 2 recognise their trans identity. Yet, many nurseries and schools teach a binary understanding of pre-assigned…
RT @susiehawkes: A good observation, and true.
RT @Future_Cities: The damage is down to the eco-philistines. For them, nothing is valuable. The response of the security stàff is high-risk but refreshingly decisive.
@BaldyDavitt Means a lot. Thanks.
@THELMPET No-one is obliged to be there. Those working peers around will be following different Bills/debates so not all in chamber at once. Many will be on specialist committees. Some may be on leave of absence eg chair a big Inquiry. But some are rarely there, once in a blue moon etc.
@meekeebee Sad to hear re Kemi. But thanks from me.
RT @christopherhope: I am not sure people are paying enough attention to what is going on in the Conservative grassroots and many members’ fury over the defenestration of Boris Johnson.
This could have long term (negative) consequences for the Conservative party. #ToryLeadershipContest
@MikeFay44 @TEIN12345 Very generous of you
@SeanMorgan9667 @TEIN12345 Daft isn't it
@MrDavidGP @CJordanjb @TEIN12345 Appreciated
