@theboi_uk @jacobreynolds Hear hear
Slightly wacky campaign. Interesting none the less. Conservative Party not a happy place right now it seems.
RT @christopherhope: BREAKING: More than 6,000 party members have now written to Conservative party chairman Andrew Stephenson demanding a say on whether Boris Johnson has to resign as Tory leader.
Members are signing up at rate of 2,000 a day. The target is 20,000.

@LiamDeacon Lovely to see you Liam. As always, fizzing with ideas, challenges & new ways of looking at politics. And someone who reminds me what Brexit still means to millions.
RT @LiamDeacon: Back with the Brexit crewwww.
Claire a fashion icon as always.
One of my proudest moments. Scruton got the 'beyond left & right' point & went on to give an amazing lecture on Kant next day. His generosity & brilliance meant: Even I, always philosophically challenged, felt I understood. Accessible, riveting; never dumbed down @Scruton_Legacy
RT @theboi_uk: Ten years ago to the day, the late, truly great Roger Scruton gave the definitive lecture on Kant at our annual Academy event.
This old mob…
I want to say @BernieSpofforth is being too OTT. But if this is right, then she is right. At very least, #RishiSunak death knell politically. Please can someone understand a) what Brexit really meant in terms of energy & aspiration b) acknowledge what Lockdown really felt like
RT @BernieSpofforth: HUNT - Rumours are that Rishi has plans for Jeremy Hunt to be Home Secretary 😂
We are watching the political suicide of a party with an …
RT @christianorguk: The CI in conversation with @calvinrobinson, @Fox_Claire and @toadmeister. #comingsoon
RT @RupertLowe10: Whatever your thoughts on the rest of the campaign, @RishiSunak deserves huge credit for this.
Interesting in view of #SchoolsBill that many home-educators dread will undermine this freedom & parents' rights (as expressed in @UKHouseofLords debates on proposed legislation).
RT @WanjiruNjoya: Home education is rising in the UK. Families value freedom of choice. "81,200 children are being electively home educated, an increase of 34 per cent on the previous year. This figure is likely to underestimate the number as registration …
My last quick question before recess, in response to panic-y demands for urgent action on the heatwave. Isn't one danger all this OTT scaremongering? When there is there a problem - like trains not coping - isn't this because of creaky infrastructure, rather than weather?
@wendybooth4 Many thanks
RT @Future_Cities: Well, grass doesn't usually self-combust and wood needs to reach around 500°C to reach ignition point.
Now that would have been a record summer temperature. https://www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/news/local-news/huge-scunthorpe-blaze-deliberate-says-7357664?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar
@ASCphiled @KemiBadenoch Agree
RT @JustineBrian: @HudsCheryl Fine, there's a commercial and a culture wars aspect to it, but I don't think FSU's telling was incorrect?
No one cares about mergers and acquisitions, so that won't be discussed. The words of those referencing Rowling will.
@HarryScoffin @KemiBadenoch @michaelgove @luhc Fair
@FJEB88 @KemiBadenoch Fair. But my passions are challenges in education & culture so want those sorted.
@PatrickTMcGrath @KemiBadenoch Always think that is a non-job though?
RT @pressgazette: Sky News will host a head-to-head debate between Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss at 8pm on Thursday 4 August - the week Conservative members receive ballot papers. Both have confirmed they will take part. Previously Sky News cancelled its leadership debate after candidates pulled out.
@MaximumCities Very important point that needs more exposure
