I listened carefully to Lords repeating lurid headlines about unaccompanied children being kidnapped and trafficked from hotels. While 100s of these young people are missing, it is still unclear why or how. I suggested that it isn't good to repeat conjecture as fact.

Shame they forgot to mention this to Tory front bench in @UKHouseofLords as yesterday we spent about seven hours on 2nd Reading of their own Levelling Up Bill. Hopeless. Obsession with renaming things always misses point. If it's a vacuous idea, new sexy label/name won't save it.
