Our opinion on the #ASGS2022 calls for a balanced economic approach to protect our social & environmental objectives despite the crisis.
Companies are overindebted and at risk in the current economic crisis.
We propose the creation of an 🇪🇺EU-wide highly subordinated instrument to:
🤹Diversify funding sources for #SMEs,
📈Encourage investment,
🎯Support the capital markets union.
📢On 9-10 November we get together with the national Economic and Social Councils of the 🇪🇺EU, in Bucharest, to discuss about:
👉Integration of refugees from #Ukraine
👉Open #StrategicAutonomy on #energy & #foodsecurity
👉Follow-up #CoFoE
Technological developments can create new inequalities.
To fight #discrimination, we need:
🔹Consistent policies & long-term engagement based on the principle of #equality
🔹EU standards for collective action when victims' individual recourse to judicial redress is not enough.
For a real #UnionOfEquality.
EU countries must adopt the #EqualTreatmentDirective blocked since 2008.
The #equality principle is central to tackling #discrimination of persons because of their belief, disability, age or sexual orientation.
