#Digitalisation of the grid creates significant risks: #Cyberattacks and #Cybersecurity incidents could potentially jeopardise the security of energy supply and the #privacy of consumer data. Industry has to adopt high safeguards and standards to prevent unlawful access to data.
Depending on their respective personal data processing activities, the parties involved in #SmartMeters and #SmarterGrids need to comply with #GDPR requirements as well as with the #ePrivacy Directive.
