🔌 75 days to go until the common charger rules come into effect!
From 28 December, all new handheld electronic devices sold in the EU will be required to use a USB-C charger.
It means e-waste could be reduced by 980 tonnes yearly ↓

@EU_Commission the idea of a single charger is great. But settling on the fragile usb-c format simply means that whole devices will now go to waste only because they cannot be charged any more (2 down, 1 on the way in this household).
