We are taking new measures to support our citizens’ security through EU Defence readiness, with a total commitment of around €2 billion.
These measures include:
🔸€500 million to ramp-up ammunition production capacity to 2 million per year.
🔸€310 million to incentivise EU countries to procure defence capabilities together.
🔸€1.1 billion to boost EU defence R&D projects.
