In the graphic, you can see two lines running quite close to each other.
The upper line in red shows the development in the Euro zone, the lower line in blue shows the development in the EU. It can be seen that the unemployment rate has been steadily decreasing since 2013.
There were peaks in 2013 with approx. 11.5 to 12.5% and during the Corona pandemic with approx. 7.5 to 8.5%.
The current level is 6.0% for the EU and 6.5% for the Euro zone.
