📣The Energy Support Package for 🇽🇰#Kosovo is here!
Today the 🇪🇺#EU transferred EUR 67.5 million to the Kosovo budget as direct support for Kosovo households & businesses to overcome the energy crisis.

Some 22,000 families will receive support for thermal insulation and buying energy-efficient appliances. With EU support, around 1,000 Kosovo businesses will be able to install energy-efficient heating systems and renewable energy sources.

The remaining part of the EU energy support package of 75 million EUR will be disbursed by early 2024. The EU is committed to supporting Kosovo’s energy sector and the transition to clean energy.

Around 200,000 households, including pensioners, single mothers, and social scheme holders, will receive subsidies for energy bills and alternative heating. Another 160,000 families will benefit from energy bill subsidies from the #EU for their energy-saving efforts 👏.
