The @EU_Commission had announced that the 🇪🇺 had spent €216 billion on climate action.
However, we found that the reported spending was not always relevant to climate action, and that the amount reported for that purpose had been overstated by at least €72 billion.
The #EU has missed its self-imposed target of spending at least 20% of its 2014-2020 budget on climate action, according to our new special report.

The @EU_Commission has identified the main barriers to the internationalisation of 🇪🇺 #SMEs & set up measures to help them expand their business abroad.
➡️But these measures sometimes lack coherence & visibility and are not always well coordinated with Member States' programmes.
🆕 We have launched the 2022 #ECAgrants, a joint Postgraduate Research Grant Programme with @EUI_EU.
The grant scheme is aimed at researchers in the fields of #EU public finances and #EUbudget
