The EU has finally decided to give €100 million to farmers of 5 EU MSs (PL, HU, RO, BG, SK) to mitigate the damage they have suffered by the excessive inflow of #Ukrainiangrains coming into the EU without tariffs and quotas due to the ATM liberalisation measures.

Re Thanks to the perseverant & united stand of 5 MSs, COM finally acknowledged that the problem of CEE farmers is indeed a European problem, thus requires EU solution. HU remains interested in finding a common answer to help UA while taking into account the interests of CEE farmers.

At today's @EP_Economics dialogue on taxation, @PaoloGentiloni echoed several times that the COM respects MS's competences on #taxation. The promise made should be a promise kept! I hope the COM will stick to this & will not step outside its competence in future proposals.

Int. recogniotion to #HU's successful debt management: 🇭🇺 won GlobalCapitalAward in 2 categories.
After 2022, 🇭🇺 again was named the most remarkable bond issuer in CEE.
Next year we'll reduce public debt ratio below 67% of GDP which is 10 percentage points better than 🇪🇺average.

Re 2. "One in one out" principle came too late & is not enough. Not allowing burden to grow or reducing it are different,
3. Impact assessments are important, but @EU_Commission tends to skip them & #thinksmallfirst principle is not always reflected in them.
