EU is using double standards when providing support to farmers of MSs neighbouring with Ukraine, when deciding that only PL, RO and BG get support from #CrisisReserve. Commission should find real solution for regional negative effects of trade liberalisation with Ukraine.

Today at @EP_Trade MEPs were extremely interested in the social, HR & environmental aspects of the COM’s #CRMA proposal. Barely anyone asks questions whether it is financially feasible & how it would impact the EU’s competitiveness.

I would urge the COM not to limit the CRM club only to good & decent countries, leaving out those who aren't sharing our values. In my view it would not serve the interest of EU businesses & what have negative impact on our competitiveness.

At @EP_Trade COM representative said the 🇪🇺 hasn't invested in geological surveys for more than 15 years, so it is high time to do that in the framework of the #CRMA. At the same time the same draft foresees that 10% of the #CriticalRawMaterials needed should come from the 🇪🇺.

@Lagarde at @EP_Economics: despite the recent turbulances, the 🇪🇺 banking sector remains strong & resilient. Banks are having a robust liquidity position & they're clearly above the min requirements. It's good to hear in light of the news on #SiliconValleyBank & #CreditSuisse.

Only 1/5 of the #recoveryfunds have been allocated so far. 5 MSs, including #Hungary, have not received any money at all. By withholding these funds, the COM is undermining 🇭🇺 competitiveness. This is unacceptable. The COM should stop political games and disburse the funds asap.

Let's choose our trading partners for mutual business benefits and diversify to reduce our exposure to external players & ensure a stable supply of raw materials. Only those rules should pass that strengthen competitiveness & reduce the administrative burden on companies.

4️⃣ EP must also respect the rules of the game & shouldn't claim ever greater influence in economic coordination. Under pressure from the left, the framework has now become ideologically charged and has gone beyond its original mandate, and has become heavily overloaded.
