We need action, not promises, to protect farmers!
Today in @EP_Trade we discussed UA agri products causing market disruption in CEE. I emphasized: We must show solidarity with an attacked country, but it is unacceptable that the farmers of 5 bordering MSs bear the cost of war.

✅ enlargement w/h #WesternBalkans.

But no to:

Remarkable event today in @EP to remember the displacement and destruction of the Polish town of Jasło in 1944. I thank to my fellow MEP colleague, @bogdan_rzonca for the organization. We remember, because we will not let history to repeat itself!

#RRF Dialogue yesterday with @PaoloGentiloni & @VDombrovskis. I called the attention to 3 issues:

1. Disbursement is lagging behind: COM has disbursed 1/5 of the available funds only while 1/3 of the time has already passed. Slow payment leads to less competitiveness.
