@DigitalEU parents and other guardians should be those who keep kids safe in the internet. A "safe for kids" internet could be a really horrible place. Internet does not need to be safe for kids on its own. As said, kids guardians can easily make it safe for kids. It's also not always a good idea to protect from everything. Kids are smart enough to move in our dangerous traffic, they can do the same in a "unsafe internet" with the right knowledge and help from guardians.
@DigitalEU Child safety is mostly a foul argument to install more surveillance and restrict the free internet. Sadly nothing that will really help kids but risks core unique elements of who the EU is.
We don't need more of Chinese and Russian current regime ideas in EU.
