RT by @CharlesTannock: Let’s remind ourselves that Dyson advocated Brexit & then left the country, before we listen to anything he says about the budget/growth/entrepreneurship.

Congratulations to Pres Sandu of Moldova who wants a better Euroatlantic future for her country. On this occasion ruthless external forces were unable to thwart this young democracy from expressing its will but the West must remain vigilant against all such interference attempts.

The low growth Brexit outcome I repeatedly predicted as much of Brexiteer promise of sunlit uplands was based on an à la carte deal with EU & the Anglosphere ie USA & CANZUK replacing EU as trade partners & aided by Irexit. All of these were patently obvious unlikely pipedreams!

Guess the incentive for business to employ NI tax free unpaid robots increases with this rise in Employers NI contribution?

RT by @CharlesTannock: ‼Critical situation west of Vuhledar‼

Outnumbered 🇺🇦 forces at Urozhaine, including our friends in the Bulava unit‚ have been stopping attacks by a reported 10K+ orcs in 10 brigades/regiments

But ~10 more enemy brigades/regiments try to break through west and north of Vulhedar

The Wild Hornets team is rushing urgently needed FPV drones to this area. Please help us send more🔥

The enemy has to attack generally over open ground. Their losses are catastrophic thanks in large part to FPV drones. But more are needed💥

You can help by sharing this post, quote tweeting the post below (which qualifies you for a raffle!) and donating for more drones!🐝

Drones are in many cases virtually the only indirect fire support for Ukrainian infantry. Your support saves Ukrainian lives💪

You can donate via our super-easy new Way For Pay page: secure.wayforpay.com/payment/w (credit cards‚ Apple Pay or Google Pay)

It took me just 45 seconds to send funds!

Another new option is on our Linktree page: linktr.ee/wildhornets

You can also support the Wild Hornets by getting Bulava or other merch at our online store: bonfire.com/store/wildhornets/

The full list of donation options is on the Wild Hornets website (including Monobank and crypto): dykishershni.com/en.html

RT by @CharlesTannock: Putin got more than he could dream of from the BRICS summit in Kazan. The attendance of UN SecGen Guterres represents the full capitulation of the old international system, while the new global system struggles to get born.

. Currently too close to call. I asked a question on Ukraine & NATO of interest to those in EU this side of the pond

[2024-10-23 09:51 UTC]

Well that's a relief to the EU and us supporters of the project and a huge disappointment to the Kremlin no doubt.

Climate change will almost inevitably bring arthropod borne tropical diseases to Europe. This is probably just the first of mosquito borne diseases. Malaria, Chikungunya, Zika, West Nile, Yellow Fever, East and West Equine Encephalitis are big worries potentially on the horizon.

Always predicted this would happen. Proud London Region I represented for 20 years as MEP voted Remain and had EU citizens had a vote would have been overwhelmingly so.

R to @CharlesTannock: In fact ROK has an effective standing military of 500000 and over 3 million reservists making it one of the largest and most powerful militaries including a formidable air force and naval forces in the world. If they were send to troops to Ukraine it would truly be a game changer

[2024-10-16 15:47 UTC]

Makes sense. I'm sure ROK (Sth Korea) with a much bigger economy & population also have a large well trained army with huge military capacity. ROK has nothing to gain by victory by Russia & DPRK (Nth Korea) & much to lose as a bellicose nuclear alliance of dangerous dictatorships

So what! Heads of government globally meet celebrities everywhere, are endorsed politically by celebrities, decorate celebrities etc. What is the story exactly or am I missing something.

In the UK we are always told such a thing is impossible as it is in the ECHR let alone when we were still in the EU. Poland has a very different take on its international obligations it seems. Interesting to see how this radical move pans out as many EU countries will be watching
