More oil & gas won't "benefit families" as PM claims - they'll line pockets of mega-rich fossil fuel giants. We're in an energy affordability crisis, not an energy supply crisis. A nationwide street-by-street mass insulation programme *would* get bills down - & cut emissions too.

Legislating for annual oil &amp; gas licensing rounds is a gimmick - they're happening almost annually already. This Bill does set new climate compatibility tests - except they're set so low, it's impossible not to meet them. So what on earth is the point of this Bill - &amp; this Govt?
