Walney's report is dangerous, draconian and undemocratic. Masquerading as an independent report, it is an overtly political hit job on our most fundamental civil rights, including the right to protest and trial by jury. We cannot afford to underestimate how serious this threat is

@CarolineLucas bear in mind that trial by jury is a peculiarly English conceit. In Scots law, in common with most of Europe we don’t use juries.
We use trained legal professionals - judges.
