Egypt has just re-elected President Sisi & I'm calling on
https://nitter.cz/RishiSunak
to use this moment to speak out about British/Egyptian citizen Alaa Abdelfattah. Alaa has been detained for nearly 10 years for exercising right to free speech
UK must call for his immediate release

I agree with a lot of what you say Caroline, but please, understand all sides of the argument before you start spouting about issues in other countries.
I have friends who constantly push Alaa's side, but as a country struggling to keep the populace together, with an economy struggling even more, Alaa's rhetoric was detrimental to Sisi getting Eghpt back on track.
It's more important right now to keep Egypt safe with the state of the rest of the world, and the fascist state on our doorstep, then handling the rantings of anti-government types.
The UK should get rid of its own fascists as they are trying to bring in laws against criticism of their fascist policies.
We really don't want the UK's corrupt racists calling on Egypt to implement policies that they recommend.
Would you have asked the German high command for advice on whether the Rwanda policy was something that any human being should have considered?
Do you think Sunak has ANY respect outside of the ERG and Yorkshire?
Get him out, get some decent human beings in charge, then start talking to other countries.
