“Brexit was the right thing for this country”says Sunak. Seriously? Less trade, less productivity, less investment, lower wages, higher food prices & grave shortage of health & social care workers. wasn’t just the wrong thing for the country, it’s a bloody disaster

@CarolineLucas imagine if Tory Starmer had denounced Brexit and was committed to a return, if only the single market…he wouldn’t now be backed into a corner facing Labour voters asking WTF is he playing at. Appeasing the Daily Fail bigots seems to be far more important to him.

@CarolineLucas He has to be forced to provide one actual benefit of Brexit without mentioning vaccines which was a lie anyway.

We can't allow any politician, let alone our Prime Minister make those comments unchallenged.

@CarolineLucas this disinformation will continue until everyone associated with it has gone. Then someone will say, "That was a bloody stupid idea" and we'll rejoin.
It was always, always about keeping the Tory party united and UKIP at bay, we've all paid the price.
The Tories should never be put back n power for at least a generation

Brexit

@CarolineLucas
He says what the ERG tell him to say, and he knows brexit will help his Charter City plan. Brexit is good for him and his super rich friends.

Brexit

@Melinda @CarolineLucas
That’s what it’s really about - a twisted ideology, profit and greed

@CarolineLucas
Well said. The mount of Brexit gaslighting from Sunak shows how desperate they are.

@CarolineLucas Continues the sad tradition of Tory ministers making outrageous statements without feeling obliged to provide any evidence that they are true. This is all the more important in our soundbite media environment.

@sonofgroucho @CarolineLucas

Well I'm speaking from a position of experience when I say she's absolutely right when she says Brexit has delivered less trade. My order book fell through the floor and is not replaceable anywhere else. Brexit sucks balls.
