The rain didn't dampen spirits in Sunderland, where I joined @SharonHodgsonMP and the brilliant local team.

Residents are really suffering in the cost-of-living crisis.

In Hartlepool, the Labour group have been setting out plans to revitalise the local economy.

@JonathanBrash and the local team explained to me how Labour’s policy of scrapping business rates would make a big difference locally.
