We welcome fair competition.
It can push both our industries to excel, innovate and transform faster.
But it has to respect the level playing field.
It is critical that the 🇪🇺🇺🇸 tech competition is a race to the top for our industries on both sides of the Atlantic.

We need to focus on:
• Adjusting our State Aid rules
• Further 🇪🇺 funding for the transition, with a boosted #REPowerEU and a Sovereignity Fund
• Working with the US to address the most concerning aspects of the IRA

The EU is in a strong position to compete on global markets.
And #NextGenerationEU accelerates the #EUGreenDeal
But to keep up in the clean tech race, we need to do our homework in Europe and rebalance the playing field where the IRA and others create distortions.
