The report comes as a response to the #QatarGate scandal and offers a set of recommendations for the @europarl_en to fight corruption and foreign interference from third countries.

The report proposes security clearance for staff dealing with sensitive issues, strengthens the transparency via publication meetings with third parties and emphasises the need of third countries to interact with the Parliament via official channels, such as the AFET committee.
