Pres. @vonderleyen announced coal ban worth a pityful €4bn. There was no reaction from Parliament.
Maybe as a result, she has ad-libbed (it sounded like it, at least) a proposal to put Russian energy payments in an escrow account (out of Putin's reach). This is a step forward.
