The EU’s Freeze & Seize Task Force has had an undeniable value and is now recognised worldwide.
It tries to ensure that 🇪🇺 sanctions are fully enforced and hit at the core of Russia’s economy.
I was pleased to open today the 19th meeting of the Task Force in Brussels.

🇪🇺 support has already translated into concrete actions, such as the International Centre for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression against #Ukraine.
It will aim to preserve, store and analyse evidence for future trials. We expect it to be fully operational by July 2023.
