Today’s last @EU2022_CZ brought significant progress on 🇪🇺 justice priorities such as the digitalisation of justice or environmental crime. I welcomed the provisional political agreement on e-evidence, but I also called for the technical discussions to be finalised soon.

During the Council meeting, I presented the achievements of the Commission’s Freeze and Seize Task Force to this day.

It has and will continue to support Member States to exchange practices and ensure the full enforcement of the 🇪🇺 sanctions. Info ⤵️

We also discussed the options at our disposal to bring the 🇷🇺 aggressors to justice. The Commission has put forward a series of legal options that Member States are still assessing.

I also debriefed MS about our recent recommendation on the conditions of pre-trial detentions.
