The 2023 Work Report of the Standing Committee of China's NPC (全国人民代表大会常务委员会工作报告) mentions "regular exchange mechanisms and political dialogue mechanisms with 21 national parliaments and the European Parliament". In the 2022 work report the EP wasn't mentioned...

... while it had been named regularly in previous years. In fact, there hasn't been any political #dialogue mechanism between NPC and EP since the Chinese sanctioned 5 MEPs. So I read the changing language as a weak signal that they've understood: There's no way around the #EP!
