Mediterranean - since the adoption of #MedFish4Ever declaration, the 🇪🇺 & @UN_FAO_GFCM have adopted management plans for key species in all subregions: blackspot seabream, hake, deep-water shrimps, small pelagics, eel, red coral & turbot. Implementation continues. #AGRIFISH

Conservation pays off!
The latest #STECF scientific advice confirms that the @UN_FAO_GFCM management plan for demersal stocks in the Adriatic & the Jabuka/Pomo Pit Fisheries Restricted Area work. Fish numbers have constantly improved in the past 3 years.

Addressing the critical state of the sturgeon is a 🔝 priority for the #BlackSea.
