Contrary to Russia's plans, Europe has secured enough energy to be safe this winter.

@tshirtman @EU_Commission Indeed, in NL, where gas is mostly used for heating, the number of degree-days was 15% lower than average, suggesting that the reduction was strongly supported by climate change.

@EU_Commission this is FANTASTIC news, and shows how straightforward the shift from fossil fuels can be when we understand the burning urgency of it!
@EU_Commission is it also thanks to an exceptionaly warm winter? I'd say we've been lucky there, but i'm a bit concerned about what it'll do to crops.
