I condemn Iranian attack on Israel but v worried PM is pitching us into war alongside an Israeli Govt which has breached international law & escalated tensions by bombing Iranian embassy. If UK serious about de-escalation, it must call for an immediate bilateral ceasefire in Gaza

@CarolineLucas Sunak would welcome such conflict as he’d se it as a way of delaying a much needed General Election.

@jaycee @CarolineLucas Watching Starmers response to Sunaks statement to the house. I am concerned that a GE is going to make very little difference to policy

@jaycee @CarolineLucas It is the impunity with which both Starmer & Sunak ignore public sentiment that angers me so much. I'd better be careful though, as expressing such anger in a public forum could now be criminal

@CarolineLucas @TheSwiv We no longer live in a functioning democracy. Since the utterly self serving Johnson, who should never have been anywhere near political power, we’ve had a succession of Prime Ministers foisted upon us. Each worse than the predecessor. As for that utterly deluded tramp Truss, she is even less able than Johnson was!

@jaycee @CarolineLucas agreed.
Plus the current leader of the Tory Regime is only there as he is not Truss. It is bizarre.
FPTP has got to end.
People need to know their vote counts
Most people did not vote tory.
Johnsons landslide, majority and mandate was bullshit.
MOST people did not vote Tory or to Get Brexit Done.
MOST people voted for other parties.
Arghhhhh!
That's it, time to step off my soapbox

@CarolineLucas @TheSwiv You are 100% right! Never was more sense put forth from a soapbox! 💪✊☮️👏👏👏
