Hunt's recent budget slipped out a grotesquely unfair requirement for UC recipients to be available to work 30-hour week when their child turns 3, or face sanctions. Many single parents already struggle with current 16-hour requirement - yet Ministers utterly uncaring as usual 👇

@CarolineLucas @MothersUncoverd @mgordonwalker So the increase in child care funding was just a pretence. The whole point was to try to force mothers to work more hours (which they now won't be able to afford again even if it there's a nursery place available).
