@ChrisTMarsden Well, obviously when you're a small, export-driven economy lile Sweden, you have to adjust. Facilitate trade relations instead of obstructing them. By driving on the right side of the road, etc.
@ChrisTMarsden If you are convinced you will be industrially prominent, it can be a protectionist measure, like when the US chose to halt introduction of metric. It makes everyone else have to do conversions and stuff when they import/export from you.
