Reminder: Qualifying an element of a legislative act as an "essential element" means that this element can only be changed through an ordinary legislative procedure and not with a delegated act. It's a question of democracy and the respect of MEP rights. /2

Just as it was the case with #Taxonomy: here the COM qualified nuclear and fossil gas energy as 'environmentally sustainable' investment goals by means of Delegated Act. I attacked this at the EU Court because this decision is an 'essential element'. The COM seems now to agree /3
