Today I received the newly appointed Apostolic Nunzio to Malta, Savio Hon Tai-Fai. Following the formal presentation of his Letters of Credence, the Apostolic Nunzio conveyed salutations on behalf of His Holiness Pope Francis to the people of Malta & Gozo.

I had an interesting meeting with the Chairman of Malta Public Transport, Mr Felipe Cosmen, and the General Manager, Mr Konrad Pulè, regarding the 5th edition of Tallinja għal L-Istrina, which will take place on Saturday, 17th December in aid of The Malta Community Chest Fund.

I congratulate Maestro Michael Laus, who this evening was awarded the Gold Medal Award from the Malta Society of Arts - an honour that has been awarded for more than 120 years to honour various people and organisations in recognition for their contribution to the Arts.
