We joined the #Isla community for the concert of the La Vincitrice Philharmonic Society Band. In a few words on the occasion, I reflected on the role of volunteers who work to keep alive all the cultural traditions and customs that shape the identity of the Maltese people.

This morning I officially launched the 17th Informal Meeting of the Non-Executive Heads of State of the European Union, known as the #ArraiolosGroup, to be held in #Malta on 6 October 2022.

During a courtesy call from #Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah at Sant'Anton Palace, I regretted the recent violent clashes that resulted in the loss of lives. I expressed my hope for a democratic process to take shape, first of all, through the holding of elections.

Yesterday, we attended mass together with some of the patients receiving help from the #MCCFF. On the occasion, I commended the initiative taken by the MCCFF, the Franciscan Fathers in London & Ms Claire Chircop, CEO of Karl Vella Foundation, for providing bereavement support.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming at Sant'Anton Palace a group of young people with different abilities from Malta and Italy who are taking part in an Erasmus+ youth exchange project. I remarked that #sport can serve as an important means of #inclusion and #unity.
