One thing that's really irritating from the perspective of an instance moderator is the complete lack of feedback to reporters once their report has been handled.
I get that it's tricky to get right privacy-wise especially for federated reports. But right now for newer users reporting stuff can just feel like shouting into a void. Even a short "a human has looked at your report" without info on the outcome would already go a long way.
