Good news for young boxers.
The government has now confirmed that there will be no negative consequences for boxers who choose to fight Russian or Belarusian opponents.
IABA has said that they can fight.
A shame for those who have lost out but better late than never.

After this exchange the policy was changed and young boxers will be allowed fight Russian and Belarusian opponents.
This is very welcome for our young boxers. It's such a shame that some young people have already missed out. But better late than never.

Today is International Day for Solidarity with Palestine.
We wrote to Ceann Comhairle requesting that we fly Palestinian flag for the day at the Dáil.
He declined, saying it would be inappropriate.
The Ukrainian flag has been flying at the Dáil for almost two years.
