@GeraldinBelfast @StephenFarryMP This kind of delusional thinking could be forgiven (almost) when the reality wasn't actually hitting out community and voluntary sector hard. To still be in denial about the impact of the loss of EU funding streams at this point is wilfully ignorant.

@GeraldinBelfast @StephenFarryMP Employability & training, including support for people with learning difficulties are among those hit.

ESF money is from across the EU, and we disproportionately benefited. We'll get less of UK replacement funds.

If you think essential services can't be cut, pop into a hospital

@Christo11049236 @StephenFarryMP One can express appreciation for those who are paid to serve and do so well. It's called manners.

I regularly thank staff in shops, restaurants, hospitals, the Assembly, and all sorts of other places. Are they paid? Absolutely. Does that mean I'm not grateful? Absolutely not.

@RobertF46213563 @allianceparty It's up to the PSNI to investigate and produce the evidence and for PPS to judge whether the evidentiary threshold has been met for each charge.

The role of the Justice Minister is to ensure the laws exist, not to implement them. In this case, they do.

@RobertF46213563 @allianceparty I'm not the Justice Minister. My term of office ended on 28th October when the DUP refused to form an Executive.

There's no barrier to charging with directing terrorism/membership of a terrorist organisation: the Department of Justice/Minister have no role in that decision. >

@JC396509365 Not aware of any Lisburn council candidate "walking away" because they're Irish or for any other reason.

I'm Irish. I'm also British. Neither is a reason why anyone would need to leave Alliance.

@bbbfire @micky_murray @drdougridge It's completely OTT. How that doesn't breach noise nuisance thresholds is beyond me.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/naomi_long/status/15

@micky_murray @drdougridge It's just so ridiculously loud. How on earth can people concentrate to work. It's completely overbearing and intrusive.

RT @allianceparty: The majority of people in NI voted for governance, and ongoing debate around the Protocol cannot be used to justify a long-term suspension of the institutions here, says @naomi_long

It's time to reform them and .

Listen here, in case you missed it yesterday:

@DavidMa91732333 You literally said it right here and you are persisting with a malicious, unfounded and potentially defamatory allegation is suggesting I am close to "SF/IRA". I am close to neither.

Delete the tweets or have the courage to put your name to them.

@GraemeH64591001 @denboy372 @StephenFarryMP What a nonsense comment: he spends most of his week in London and the rest in North Down doing his job as an MP which is precisely what he was elected to do.

He's not favoured a united Ireland in Dublin or anywhere else.

And he doesn't represent Ards: that's in Strangford.

RT @SteveDonnelly95: My thoughts are with residents in Innisfree Gardens who have been evacuated during this security alert.

I hope that whatever suspicious object has been identified proves to be nothing untoward.

The community in Strabane deserves to be able to live free from fear and disruption.

@EBLoyalist1912 @paulhaganrea @CllrMichaelLong No. What's preached in church isn't affecting anyone's ability to trade or harassing people passing by.

I support religious freedom, but I don't support noise nuisance and homophobia.

I also don't see anything particularly Christ-like in how some of those preachers behave tbh.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/naomi_long/status/15

@EBLoyalist1912 @paulhaganrea @CllrMichaelLong It isn't. It would be freedom of speech, but that doesn't give anyone the right to amplify that speech.

As they do, you can keep walking on by but the noise will follow and if you work in one of the businesses nearby, any chance of earning a living walks by with them.

@neiltmufc @C_Bower @JennaMaghie @rossalliance @PMcReynoldsMLA Depending on the issue, the cleansing may be Council, but if the pavements are defective, it would be for DfI.

@JC396509365 We have no elites in Alliance: it's one member, one vote.

Our instinct is that we need to focus on building a united community, as our main priority.

And I've explained how we'll decide what position to take already.

@BigBigaggie So to summarise: anyone could have written KAT and support for loyalist paramilitaries, so ignore that.

But we have videos of some of those who sing "Oo ah, up the 'RA" so it must be taken more seriously.

Is that really your "argument"? Because it's absolute nonsense.

RT @C_Bower: After all the rain, there are many pavements and roads experiencing flooding. Some flooding is a result of blocked gullies. I've reported these ones to the Department of Infrastructure and they will clear them this week. If there are any others needing attention let us know.
