RT @h_irwin98: Great that our motion to receive an update from DoH, BMA and RCGPs regarding the potential closure of Springhill surgery has been agreed at committee tonight

With over 14,000 residents potentially impacted, any clarity on back-up options for continuity of care should be welcomed

RT @StephenFarryMP: Formal answer from BEIS on £400 energy support payments for NI households. No mention of 'November'. But instead, it is just 'this winter'

We need certainty and much quicker delivery. We continue to lobby.

RT @JohnBlairMLA: Pleased to attend the Symposium today.

@allianceparty remains committed to supporting dairy farmers to build a sustainable farming system that tackles both the climate and wildlife crises while producing high quality products.

RT @ThomasJBlain: Delighted to be elected chair tonight at our inaugural meeting of the Ulster University Alliance Society. Massive thank you to everyone who attended and I can’t wait to work with the rest of the new committee. @AllianceYouthNI

@MrRCain2 @sinnfeinireland @moneillsf @conormurphysf @columeastwood @ClaireHanna @StephenFarryMP @SDLPlive @allianceparty This is just Paisley Jun performing for the cameras. These bills rarely go anywhere.

I'd be shocked if this even gets as far as a debate, let alone into law.

Think of it not so much as politics but rather an early start to this years panto season...🙄

@WhiteChoc90 @historyinaglass I answered it? It's at the end of the thread?

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/naomi_long/status/15

@edmurph47148082 And it's easy to tell people to get over it: it's not so easy to do for people whose lives were irreparably damaged during the conflict. I wouldn't say it to victims of any violence in our community.

@edmurph47148082 I am more worried about them. I also regularly challenge them, and did so in my previous tweet.

However, last time I checked, it was okay to challenge SF on how they address the past where we disagree, because those narratives impact the present.

@Mellltttt I have nevet sought to justify or excuse illegal actions by state forces. And I never will.

@tomcahill7 @KirleyYvonne I'm not justice minister. You'd think being a patronising smart ass you'd know this?

@boyscout1966 Why not ask them, Dean?

I actually commented on their recent activities in my previous tweet and consistently call them out.

@Onemanbanned6 @EBelfastLoyal @boyscout1966 It is if you do it on my feed where I repeatedly call them out.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/naomi_long/status/15

@ClogherHead1 @JohnBee1965 @historyinaglass That's not my agenda: I'm willing to work with SF but not at the expense of being able to disagree with their views. Of course people have different views: we need to be conscious of the harm of whitewashing our past on both victims and those preyed on by current paramilitaries.

@LiamTho75398998 I commented on that, too.

Creating a narrative that past violence was different or more acceptable creates the conditions in which more young people can be groomed into violence by people justifying their current violence.

That is high risk and one we should all seek to avoid.

@KirleyYvonne I tweeted about Carrickfergus before I tweeted about this. I read her comments.

And I decide what's on my agenda, no-one else.

All terrorism and terrorist apologism bothers me, and I speak out consistently irrespective of the source.

@Jcc78875925 I did, yes. I used one of her quotes as a basis for my own response.

@JamesBl58710487 I have no idea - they certainly aren't tolerated by most unionist people, who want them to get off the back of the community.

There are challenges for the PSNI in tackling loyalist paramilitaries: I strengthened the laws on proceeds of crime and unexplained wealth to assist.

@Holabhoy1888 Well, she has a point there, but those on the receiving end of the violence and intimidation in communities probably see little difference.
