@Mellltttt I'm not ignoring current paramilitarism. Unfortunately, arguing that paramilitary violence in the past is acceptable, unavoidable, or worse heroic, perpetuates a narrative that allows young people to get caught up in such illegal activity today.
@GrahameJones17 I have done. And I did take action when in office to tackle paramilitary control.

As somebody who has seen and continues to see at first hand the damage, the corrosive damage, that so-called paramilitarism has caused to communities, there absolutely is a comparison.
Suggesting otherwise is denying the lived experience of victims.

It takes courage to speak out and stand up to these thugs.
It takes no courage to terrorise an elderly woman, grieving the loss of her son.
The Quinns shouldn't have to put up with this intimidation and threat.

@niall_perry @micky_murray It's definitely something I would support on residential streets as standard. So far the signs are being trialled on an advisory basis: it's not ideal, but in most cases the signage does cause drivers to slow down significantly even if not enforced.
