@BigSeamus188826 @SorchaEastwood @SMacB @BTriagain As a party, we've condemned every single one of them. Many predate Sorcha's time in politics, but I doubt her position would differ from the rest of us on those issues.
@BelfastBre @SorchaEastwood It's a grim period of time for those young men who were held and abused in Kincora and other locations.
I hope one day we'll get the full truth of what happened. They deserve that at least.
@BelfastBre @SorchaEastwood What happened at Kincora has long concerned me, Brenda. As an MP, I raised it in Westminster and called on Theresa May to include it in the UK-wide inquiry into institutional abuse as Home Sec. She declined to do so. I also raised it with the Hart Inquiry locally. 1/2

Lots of people recognise that the UK/UI isn't at stake in elections and want to vote for politicians who will work for everyone on the issues they do control. Many are undecided regarding the future constitutional position.

Michael believes - wrongly - he wasn't selected because of his views on a UI.
He's left again and is back to attacking us online. I've neither the power nor inclination to stop members contacting him.

Ultimately, in a referendum, each voter will decide for themselves.
That's why voting for MLAs on the basis of their constitutional position is pointless. They won't decide the future: you will.

@Reunify32 @HarriettmooreB2 @HeavenScentxs @StephenFarryMP I can't answer for the police. I know that they do collect evidence at many sites where there are criminal offences. Most of the issues are civil offences (trespass, property damage, etc)
@MartinHolmes68 @HarriettmooreB2 @HeavenScentxs @StephenFarryMP We're working on inclusion of sectarianism as part of a hate crime bill. Consultation on that element was scheduled to take place early next year.
@DeidreShannon9 @RichardJGrant @HeavenScentxs @StephenFarryMP When there is a proposition, the party will decide whether to campaign in the referendum or leave it to a free vote. If the former, we'll take a decision based on what we see to be in the best interests of the people of NI.
That's been our position since the GFA.

My reply wasn't terse: I genuinely don't get what point you were trying to make by raising it. It's been happening consistently since Alliance was formed.

And saying we won't stand up for people's rights when we have consistently done so is pure nonsense.
@HeavenScentxs @StephenFarryMP Only if people do what you did and assume that if you agree with someone on one issue, you must be sympathetic to them on every issue.
We're neither part of the pan nationalist front nor unionist lite: it's odd that someone claiming to be a member would think in those terms tbh.
