@wataheader @Christieslawns Not having an Executive won't solve the protocol. You missed that one.

@michaeldthoey The preparatory work was done some time ago - it's the @deptinfra who are responsible.

I know @PMcReynoldsMLA has been working on this so might have some insight into timings.

@ItaGnik Which is why we need reform of the institutions. No single party should be able to hold the entire system to ransom.

@Christieslawns I agree. But sadly we've not had an Executive since March to do anything on these issues.

And if anything, Westminster antics have made things worse rather than better.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/naomi_long/status/15

@Christieslawns Most of the issues you have highlighted were caused by Westminster, not the Assembly.

I get frustrated, too. But direct rule will not solved the problem.

@Mickey08142015 @MrRCain2 @MatthewOToole2 @CaraHunterSDLP @McCrossanMLA Lol. Almost. Not quite!

@Christo11049236 Thanks. It's always useful to have a random person on Twitter tell me what I think and what I mean...

It takes a lot of confidence to think you know better than me what I mean.

But not so much self-awareness.

@Christo11049236 It's not qualified: it's a turn of phrase. Pretty positive is pretty good. 🙂

@JohnMurrray @Christo11049236 I hope Christopher takes that on board before tweeting any further insults.

@Christo11049236 They legislated on medicines, offered a bespoke veterinary agreement, didn't take action on the unilateral grace period extension. All pretty positive. And of course, I have met with both sides to discuss this, so perhaps have some knowledge.

But you troll away and post gifs.👍

@Robbie508565471 It's extremely bureaucratic which is why I voted against it: unlike Johnson/Frost I didn't agree it was the best option. But they signed up to it.

Does Brexit work? No sign of the promised benefits, though the warnings dismissed as 'Project Fear' seem to have been accurate.

@Robbie508565471 I didn't say 'straight to'. We're already not implementing what was agreed.

Better to focus on getting mutually-agreed, sustainable change which provides clarity to business than trigger Article 16 which adds nothing constructive and would be an act of bad faith.

@HappyUlster The law should be upheld by government: that stands.

However, you can take a look at the various proposals we have proposed which would reduce bureaucracy and maintain access to both markets.

All we want is mutually-agreed, legal and clear arrangements.

@Christo11049236 Apart from being a complete ignoramus, you are entirely ill-informed.

There has been openess to renegotiate on the EU side: what they have lacked is a trusted partner in that process.

Boris admitted they signed up to the original deal with no intention of implementing it.
