However, the purpose of the change is not to extend the range of speech covered, but to protect private conversation.
Political speech is already protected in law.

Trans inclusive people are also being abused, harassed, and smeared on here.
Neither is acceptable to me: I'd prefer civil exchange, which is nuanced and respectful.
